Countdown to the polls

We spotted this in the Bury Free Press:

As the days count down towards polling day, candidates for the Central Suffolk and North Ipswich consituency are lining up to win over as many votes as they can.
Among them are Richard Vass, for the New Party, a businessman who lives and works in Suffolk who says he wants to provide a positive alternative to the main parties.

He says: "I am frustrated by the sheer incompetence of MPs from the main, old parties.

"A vote for me will register your dissatisfaction with Cameron, but without giving support to the disastrous Labour Party or the reckless Liberal Democrats.

"As your MP I will fight for real conservative values, not the 'Conservative' party which consistently compromises values and principles in order to jump onto the latest bandwagon.

"As a successful businessman, I have a thorough understanding of how to rescue the country from the quagmire of debt that future generations are left to face.

"New Party tax policies, including abolition of Business Rates, will provide the stimulation needed for the private sector to thrive, particularly in our rural constituency, making more people net contributors rather than a burden on the exhausted national funds.

"The New Party's comprehensive manifesto statement provides a template for a better Britain where people are put back into control. Please take time to visit www.newparty.co.uk to find out more. A vote for Vass is the most positive statement you can make.
