Stephen Milburn (Scottish Policy Committee)

Biography

Stephen Millburn is a Vault Controler in the C.I.T sector (cash in transit). Throughout his career he has progressed through a number of roles in financial securities and has spent time in the Customs and Excise Department, The Scottish Office and Lloyds Bowmaker Finance Co. Stephen is married with two children - aged 13 and 21 - and is also a foster parent. He lives in Livingston. He previously stood as a Conservative Candidate at local level in Muirhouse in 1984. Stephen enjoys the internet, driving and collecting model buses and trains. He is also a member of MENSA.

Reasons for Supporting the New Party

I have always despaired that during my lifetime Scotland has slid down the murky path of Socialism. Corruption, mis-management and sheer incompetence have been the results. (As the Holyrood Project stands testimony to) Suddenly there was a party whose policies echoed my beliefs, an alternative I could support, a party that would work with and listen to the electorate rather than dictate to and control it.
