Biography

New Party chairman Robert Durward is based in Scotland. Robert went into business from school in 1968 and has been involved in the agricultural, haulage, plant and minerals industries. Hobbies include golf, sailing and writing.

Reasons for Supporting the New Party

realised some time ago that the main political parties had lost their way and that fundamental changes would have to be made if we were to make any progress. Our MPs used to command respect and the House of Commons contained a useful blend of skill and experience. Unfortunately this is no longer the case and many of today’s MPs are completely out of their depth. However, I strongly believe that, if we can move away from worn out and discredited political dogma and offer people a visionary, progressive and realistic way forward, then there is no reason why this country cannot measure up to the best in the world. I am therefore pleased to support the New Party and I hope that it will appeal to all who realise that we must all play our part in helping to build a fair and progressive society.
